Just the 3 of us

Our mornings are becoming my favorite part of the day. When all the boys are gone to school it is just Hayden, Ellie and myself. What do we do? We play. We watch movies and we wrestle. We can do whatever they want to do most mornings. Today we just played and did absolutely nothing and it was so much fun for them. Ellie was helping Hayden and he was content to sit and watch her mother him. Although he didn't really like much of what she did to him he was still a sport and endured it well. Here are some pictures from our morning.
Ellie has really started to become her little own self. She is talking a lot more and she has the cutest little voice. She is always begging " Please mommy?" Everywhere she goes. She knows that she can usually get a fruit snack if she begs me just right. Works every time like a charm. Her favorite movie is still Nacho Libre. The movie is starting to get a scratch in it from watching it so many times. You will frequently hear her repeating a few lines from the movie now and then. I don't know why she loves it so much but she does. That is the first thing she wants to watch in the morning. Lately I have noticed though that anytime she gets sad she will ask for her blankie and Chancho. Her two comforts for the time being. I just love her! She is so much work right now but so much fun.

Right before she tried to push him over she asked " I push Hayden please mommy!" I told her not to but she did anyways. This was the calm before the storm.

Oh my goodness! Where do I begin with this little ball of sunshine? I think Heavenly Father knew I needed a break from some hard babies. He is a breath of fresh air. I just love him so much! Don't get me wrong, I love all my kids, but oh my goodness, I could just kiss him all day long. He is still not the world's best sleeper but that will come. I just don't enjoy the 3-4 wake times each night. Still likes to eat. Hayden is 7 months going on 8. I can't believe it! He is just barely learning to roll over. I know right! Late bloomer. But someone is always there to pick him up when he makes a fuss so he is never left alone for too long. He has two adorable teeth on the bottom. Cutest little things ever.
He has discovered his voice and he is really, I mean really loud. Just loves to talk to himself or to anyone who will lend an ear. Quite cute if you ask me.
He loves to eat solids. He is eating more and more now and I am starting to introduce more foods and the funny reactions are my favorite. The kids just love him. He is always so happy when the older boys come home from school. It's a good break for all of us. He loves the attention and all the hugs. Playtime is so much more fun when you have 3 older brothers to toss you around.
He is our last first if that makes any sense. It is sad to see all these baby stages come to an end. But I am getting ready for new stages and new things.
We love our mornings together!
