Sleep Deprivation

Last night was one of the worst nights we have had in a long time. I couldn't get to sleep until midnight. I had to stuff a hundred pillows around my body to get somewhat comfortable. The baby has fully dropped which helps me breath alittle easier and the acid reflux is pretty much gone, thank goodness. Both of my boys woke up around 12:30 this morning crying at the top of the stairs. Keaton does really well and goes straight to his little bed and I usually put Andrew up with me and he usually goes straight to sleep but last night he was so fidgety it drove me nuts. After putting up with it for an hour I decided to march him straight back up to his room to get him back to sleep. No luck! He screamed and screamed. I finally had to lock him in his room. The whole night I could hear him scraming and trying to open the door. He finally fell asleep around 3:30 this morning and then I woke up at 7 and snook upstairs to check on him. He woke up obviously and then I brang him down to bed with us and we all slept for another hour.
I have been in tears ever since. I feel so bad for having to lock him in his room but I have to get some sleep. I am already really tired and just out of it. I guess this is preparing me for the being up every 2-3 hours a night when this baby comes. There has to be a better way to get my boys to sleep in their own bed without making them scream it out and locking their door. Anyone have any ideas? I could sure use them.

Almost here

We are slowing getting closer and closer to having this baby. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and he seemed surprised that I was dialated to 2cm already. He said "Maybe this little, or big one is going to come sooner than we think." I sure hope he is right. I know there is really only about 3 more weeks left but I am crossing my fingers that it does come soon. He had completely dropped and is in place. I am getting really excited. We are getting the nursery ready, all the clothes washed and put away. The boys wake up almost every morning asking if he is coming "today." They are axiously awaiting his arrival too.
My good friend Brenda is due 2 weeks after me with her first baby boy. Next weekend we are having her baby shower at my house. I guess I better get some ideas and decorations together. Someone asked me if I needed a shower. My answer was "NO!!!" We have more things than I can keep track of. Keaton's and Andrew's baby clothes took up 6 big plastic tubs and it was so much fun going through all of it again. We are hung up on a name still. We are either going for Owen or Gavin. Any opinions?
I will keep everyone posted as we get closer and closer. Thanks for all your thoughtful phone calls throughout the day and the little cards in the mail. I have really enjoyed all of it.

Vinyl Lettering

I have wanted to do some vinyl lettering around my house for the longest time but just didn't know where to find some. My good friend Lynnette Rogers just started her own Vinyl Lettering buisness called JaneyMac. It was awesome. She came and did some demonstrations for me and my friends and family last night at our home. We had a fun time ordering some stuff for our nursery, the boys bedroom/bathroom and our family room. I can't wait until they come in. I will post pictures when we get them up. Thanks Lynnette for coming. We had a good time. Here is her website if anyone is interested. It is www.janeymacpress.blogspot.com. Check it out, there is some fabulous stuff in there.

Hope Ya Know We Had a Hard Time

That was the title of my lesson that I taught in Relief Society today. It was in the November Conference issue. It was a talk given by Elder Quentin L. Cook. It was an incredible lesson and I am so glad I was able to teach from it. It gave great insight on what lies ahead and if we are prepared we shall not fear.
Seems lately this is the theme to all my prayers "Heavenly Father, I hope you know I am having a hard time!"
This past week Lance has been in Oklahoma for some buisness. It has not been easy holding down the fort with two busy boys and only 3 weeks away from having this baby. It was tiring and a lot of work. I honestly don't know who single parents do it. We missed Lance so much. He will be home at midnight tonight and we can't wait to see him. The boys have really missed him. There is great comfort when our family is all together on our scheduled routine. Seems like everytime he is away one of my children get really sick. This time it was Keaton. I think he is coming down with the Croup. We will see. I am using my Essential Oils to help this one out. Keep your fingers crossed that he will get better. I guess it is better to get all of this out before the baby comes so we are all happy and healthy to have him.
Sorry if I haven't been updating much. I am not very flexible anymore. It hurts to move and this baby has already dropped into the birth canal so the doctor thinks he will come early. I am crossing my fingers but not counting on it. It will be just my luck to go past my due date. I am just anxious to have him here so he is not just a stomack anymore. The boys can't wait for him to come. They are going to be great big brothers.
Well that is enough for now. I am ready for bed. I will keep you posted on when he comes.

First day of Spring

Since today was the first day of Spring we were blessed with a warm beautiful day. I think it reached almost 70 degrees today. We were spoiled rotten. We literaly spent the entire day outside. The boys were in heaven and I was too. It felt so great to have the sun on my skin. We have sure missed it! I watched my cousins kids today too while they were in town on some family matters and we decided to pull out our big water slide that we pull out during the summer time. We didn't swim, but the kids sure had fun sliding down the slide and playing with cousins. We hope that the nice weather is here to stay.

Spring Break with the Snyders

This past week we took one last trip to see Lance's family before the baby comes. Although there were times when I thought we might have had the baby somewhere in between here and there, we made it and I am still pregnant. It was a very uncomfortable trip but we made it. The boys were so excited to see their cousins and the others we haven't seen forever. All my neices and nephews from Arizona had their spring break and since momma and poppa Snyder were on a cruise they all decided to go to Utah for some fun.
We arrived Sunday evening and then headed back Wednseday morning so Lance could catch his afternoon flight to Okalahoma for some work seminars. Here are some pictures from our week in Utah. Thanks Knotts for letting us stay with you guys. We loved being in your home with your cute family. I am not sure when we will make it up there again but we miss you all already!
Andrew loves to go bowling. It is a tradition to go up to BYU campus to bowl everytime we go to Utah to see family. Andrew was so excited that day

Uncle Preston's 16th birthday party

My boys!

My neice Emma was always eating the dirt

All the grandkids playing with the bubbles. It was so beautiful outside

Fortunately/Unfortunately

I read this on a friends blog and thought it sounded fun. So I gave it a try. You google "fortunately______(your name)," and "unfortunately _______ (your name)." Here is what we found........

Fortunately Melissa is well and on the mend and, after spending two months at a health and lifestyle retreat, is planning an awaited return back home.

Fortunately, Melissa did not need any additional plasma exchange treatments.

Fortunately, Melissa recalled the skills she’d been taught as a youngster in the Safe Sitter® course and quickly put them to use.

A driver in a car behind Melissa failed to stop in time and plowed into the back of her SUV. The vehicle was heavily damaged. Fortunately, Melissa and her family were safe.

Fortunately, Melissa is pretty cool (for a girl).

Unfortunately, Melissa is suffering from a disease known as Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinoses.

Unfortunately, Melissa doesn't have time to look after her own pets because she is training every day. But when she's at home she does have other hobbies.

Unfortunately, Melissa did not have a matched relative, so she underwent a year of drug therapy in hopes it would cure her illness.

Unfortunately, Melissa's teaching skills are pretty poor and she has a hard time inspiring a class of adults. She loses control completely.

Just try it out. All you have to do is check out the headlines of all the items that come up. It gave me a good laugh when I needed it.

PLEASE DON'T!!!!

Keaton and Andrew ~

PLEASE DON'T swipe all the books off the shelves in the library. Mom is losing her patience with this.

PLEASE DON'T unroll all the toliet paper in the bathrooms just to put it all down the toliet!

PLEASE DON'T fight! When you start wrestling and start digging each others eyes out. The scars on your faces are really starting to show.

PLEASE DON'T eat something and then through the rest of it on the carpet!

PLEASE DON'T throw all the toys from upstairs down the stairs. I will not clean it up anymore!

PLEASE DON'T yell at me. I am trying so hard to help you out.

PLEASE DON'T play with the tv remotes. It screws up all our programs and then you wonder why I can't get the sound to work.

PLEASE DON'T get out of bed again. When it is time for bed, it is time for bed!

PLEASE DON'T dump your glass of water all over the kitchen floor. I am tired of moping it up.

PLEASE DON'T play on the computer. Last time you put a huge virus on our computer.

PLEASE DON'T climb up on the table to play with the lights

PLEASE DON'T ask to go to grandma's house one more time. We will go when they are home and want company.

PLEASE DON'T kick mom's tummy, it doesn't feel good.

and

PLEASE OH PLEASE DON'T stop being so cute! I love you both so very much. I am not sure what my life would be like without you. Let's just work together so we are both happy. Mom will be back to her normal self here in a few weeks hopefully. Mommy is just really really tired right now and everything is getting to her nerves. I love you both!
